The Uffizi has the greatest collection of Italian painting in the world. (Unfortunately, the galleries are rather dark and, since you canšt use a flash, youšll have to take our word for it.) The collection traces Italian painting from medieval through Renaissance and into Baroque, with works by Botticelli (Venus on the Half-Shell my God, shešs green!), Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, and more.
