| While the architecture was a treat, what we found most charming about Barcelona was the love and affection evident in the paseo, when everybody came out to enjoy the summer evening. Couples held hands as they strolled, parents watched their kids feed pigeons, elderly couples cozied up on park benches. It was as innocent and peaceful as a '50s TV idyll. |
